22320E self-aligning roller bearing

2023-12-19

Self aligning roller bearings have two rows of rollers, which mainly bear radial loads and can also withstand axial loads in any direction. Has high radial load capacity, especially suitable for working under heavy loads or vibration loads, but cannot withstand pure axial loads. The outer raceway of this type of bearing is spherical, so its centering performance is good and can compensate for coaxiality errors.

To ensure that the bearing prevents harmful slippage between the raceway and rollers due to centrifugal action during high-speed operation, the bearing should withstand a certain radial load, which can be estimated as follows:

Fr=0.02C

In the formula

Fr - Radial load N

C - Basic rated dynamic load N of bearings

Equivalent dynamic load

P=Fr+Y1Fa when Fa/Fr e

P=0.67Fr+Y2Fa when Fa/Fr e

In the formula

P - Equivalent dynamic load N

Y1 Y2- Axial dynamic load coefficient

Equivalent static load

P0=Fr+Y0Fa

In the formula

P0- Equivalent static load N

Y0- Axial static load coefficient

Post code

Install the tapered hole self-aligning roller bearings with the rear codes K and K30 on the matching locking sleeve to become the K+H type and K30+H type bearings with the rear codes. This type of bearing can be installed on an optical shaft without a shoulder, suitable for situations that require frequent installation and disassembly of bearings. In order to improve the lubrication performance of the bearing, there is a circular oil groove on the outer ring of the bearing and three evenly distributed oil holes are drilled, with the rear code W33.

Clearance

For the installation of self-aligning roller bearings, the axial clearance can be adjusted by adjusting the nuts, washers, and threads in the bearing seat holes on the shaft neck, or by using methods such as pre tensioning springs. The size of axial clearance is related to the arrangement of bearings during installation, the distance between bearings, and the material of the shaft and bearing seat, and can be determined according to working conditions. For high load and high speed self-aligning roller bearings, when adjusting the clearance, it is necessary to consider the effect of temperature rise on the axial clearance, and estimate the reduction of clearance caused by temperature rise. In other words, the axial clearance should be adjusted appropriately to be larger. For bearings with low speed and bearing vibration, clearance free installation or preload installation should be adopted. Its purpose is to create good contact between the rollers and raceways of self-aligning roller bearings, distribute the load evenly, and prevent damage to the rollers and raceways due to vibration and impact. After adjustment, the size of the axial clearance is checked with a dial gauge. The method is to first fix the dial gauge on the body or bearing seat, so that the contact of the dial gauge is against the smooth surface of the shaft, and push the shaft left and right along the axial direction. The swing of the dial gauge needle is the axial clearance value.
